The log cabin was gorgeous and had everything you would need. The view was the most amazing part. The cabin is right at the lakeside with nothing spoiling the view. We did not want to leave!

We were greeted by accommodating, helping and relaxed personell (family business). We had the family room (it has its own shower!). It’s always a compromise to sleep with four people in one room, especially when dad tends to snore, but thats on us and not Backlunda. Breakfast was exzellent and above our expectations for a B&B. There’s a terrass on the second floor with an amazing view over the Siljan lake and its surroundings.

What a great place! With an amazing view of lake Siljan that you can enjoy from deck chairs outside, the living room or even from bed in one of the bedrooms, this is a great place to stay! I've been to Rättvik countless times and this is the epitome of a Rättvik-view! Lovely decorated and homely feel inside as well! Just a short walk down to the main street with restaurants, cafés and a few shops. Although pretty steep hill, especially on the way back ;) Gracious and really friendly host in Mariann! Great place to stay when visiting Dalhalla. Would love to stay here again!
