يقع مكان إقامة "Lakeside log cabin Främby Udde Falun" مقابل الشاطئ في فالون على بُعد 6.8 كم فقط من منجم فالون، ويوفر حديقة ومطعماً ومرافق للشواء وواي فاي مجاني. Charming small cabin with a wonderful view of the lake. The cabin is located in a small settlement of approx 20 cabins, but as this cabin is located at the outskirts, you forget that there are other houses in the neighborhood. We got the code to open the door by message prior to arrival, super convenient. The cabin itself is well-designed, very nicely decorated (dalahäst theme) and practical. The room for the children with three bunk beds is really tiny, no storage space at all, but it worked. The master bedroom and the bathroom are surprisingly spacious. The kitchen is functional and even has a small but very efficient dishwasher (dishwasher tabs are not provided). The area is wonderful for all sorts of winter sports. We intended to do iceskating on the lake but unfortunately, the ice wasn't cleared for skating. We opted for cross-country skiing instead and were enchanted by the variety and the lovely countryside. A downhill skiing area is about 5 min away by car.

My friend and I stayed in the very cozy cabin “Friggan”,. Which meant we had our own bathroom / toilet and private small terras. The excellent breakfast buffet was served in the dining / living area of the main building. Our host showed us the guest rooms upstairs( 5 if I’m not mistaken ): they look cozy and comfortable as well. Guests staying there share 2 bathrooms. This is a perfect B&B setup. This is a great place and the central location makes it easy to wander around town. During summer when you can enjoy the decent size terras it will be an even more pleasant place to stay. I can also highly recommend a visit to the Sandhamn Värdshus for a drink, lunch or dinner. Good food, friendly staff in an “good old cozy pub setting”. And very well done both Missions Huset and Sandhamn Värdshus, they are open all year round. Last but not least, our host was the most friendly, professional lady you can wish for. Fabulous!!

The location was simply perfect, accessible by public transport from Stockholm central station while being in nature. Can you imagine being in the middle of the woods of the Stockholm archipelago during the fall, biking to a natural reserve or going down to the sea by foot? That's how amazing it was - no noise, pure bliss. The jacuzzi was a wonderful plus. Viktor was very welcoming, so were his two cats, and the breakfasts were BIG (and delicious). I cannot recommend it enough, it really has a special place in my heart!

It was a cozy small cabin with all the facilities that you need. It's straight at a nice lake and close to a beautiful hiking area. Easy to get there also by bus from Stockholm.
