We stayed in this lovely little rental house for three weeks in December 2025 and were very satisfied with both the accommodation and the hospitality. The house was cozy, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to feel at home for a longer stay. Everything worked well, and the space was comfortable and practical. The hosts were especially wonderful—very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They were easy to communicate with and always helpful whenever we had questions or needed anything, while still fully respecting our privacy. Overall, it was a great experience, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would not hesitate to return ourselves

We got a cabin right in front of the lake so the view was wonderful. The service house with toilets and showers was CLEAN all the time. We tried different camapsites in the area and this was the best and the cleanest. Beds are very comfy!

Horses running around right outside the window. Nice view and extremely friendly owners. Shower and toilet right next to the cabin and very clean.

Ubytovanie Perssons i Backens Pensionat- Sjötorps Vandrarhem & Rum sa nachádza v destinácii Sjötorp 20 km od miesta Mariestad Train Station. Great Bed and Breakfast in a lovely town right next to the biggest lake in Sweden. We stayed only for one night but could have stayed way longer. Very friendly host that runs a restaurant with delicious Fish and Chips in the same street. Breakfast was also superb. And what a great area, great spot to explore the lake, the Gotta canal with it's beautiful locks and multiple Nature Reserves.

Situated 100 metres from Bomstadbaden Beach by Lake Vänern, this resort offers cottages with a private terrace and a kitchenette. Karlstad city centre is 10 km away. The place where we stayed was lovely and the rooms were nice and warm in the freezing 🥶 cold weather, clean and had everything we needed.

Villa Billerud lies by the Byälven River, only 1.5 km from Säffle Train Station. In addition to free Wi-Fi and private parking, it offers a private beach with access to fishing and a big park. The breakfasts were OK, fresh and prepared every morning by very friendly staff. Staff was also very friendly and helpful in all aspects of our visit.

This hotel is next to the Åmålsån River and green space in central Åmål, only 300 metres from Lake Vänern. It offers free WiFi internet access in all guest rooms. Very nice hotel with traditional style. Very helpful and friendly staff.
