We stayed in this lovely little rental house for three weeks in December 2025 and were very satisfied with both the accommodation and the hospitality. The house was cozy, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to feel at home for a longer stay. Everything worked well, and the space was comfortable and practical. The hosts were especially wonderful—very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They were easy to communicate with and always helpful whenever we had questions or needed anything, while still fully respecting our privacy. Overall, it was a great experience, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would not hesitate to return ourselves

We got a cabin right in front of the lake so the view was wonderful. The service house with toilets and showers was CLEAN all the time. We tried different camapsites in the area and this was the best and the cleanest. Beds are very comfy!

Situated 100 metres from Bomstadbaden Beach by Lake Vänern, this resort offers cottages with a private terrace and a kitchenette. Karlstad city centre is 10 km away. The house was very clean and well equiped

Villa Billerud lies by the Byälven River, only 1.5 km from Säffle Train Station. In addition to free Wi-Fi and private parking, it offers a private beach with access to fishing and a big park. The breakfasts were OK, fresh and prepared every morning by very friendly staff. Staff was also very friendly and helpful in all aspects of our visit.

This hotel is next to the Åmålsån River and green space in central Åmål, only 300 metres from Lake Vänern. It offers free WiFi internet access in all guest rooms. A cozy retreat with a heritage look and easy access to the lake side and city center, Amals Stadhotel was a perfect choice for our recent visit to Sweden near Lake Vänern. The hotel's friendly staff and delicious breakfast made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend it!
