This was my fave of three hotels I've stayed in Zanzibar. The hotel is gorgeous, on the beach and the restaurant had some of the best food we ate in the island. Also next to other restaurants you can go walking. Personally loved the attention to details. Even noticed my birthday on my id and prepared a surprise in the room.

LUJO Zanzibar Resort features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Paje. The hotel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. stayed at LuJo for four days in December. The staff were incredibly kind, and the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the main road. The room was comfortable and had a small fridge. The pool was great, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and everything exceeded our expectations. The room was beautifully decorated for the occasion, making us feel truly welcomed. Our balcony opened to the incredible ocean view, and every member of staff was warm, friendly, and eager to help - they arranged tours for us as well. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere throughout our stay was simply perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Situated in Jambiani, a few steps from Jambiani Beach, Kaskazi Hotel Zanzibar features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. We have just stayed at Kaskazi and enjoyed every second of our stay. The hotel is tastefully and thoughtfully designed and decorated, and really compliments the natural surroundings. We stayed in a double room for our week stay and added an extra night on so moved to a suite as this was then the only available option if we wished to stay an extra night. Although the double room was great, I would absolutely recommend the suite, as it extremely spacious, we wish we had booked this for the whole stay . In regard to staff, each and every staff member were fantastic, including of house staff, kitchen staff, maintenance, housekeeping and security. Joseph who was working at the upstairs bar deserves a special mention. Great drinks Joseph! He really looked after us, was always a friendly face and was such a genuine kind hearted man. His customer service really was outstanding and it was lovely chatting with him at the bar of an evening. My understanding is that he is currently also at college studying hospitality. He would be an asset to the hotel if a full time opportunity came up. Peter and sefroza in the restaurant deserve a mention as so Allen and Eliesi ( may have spelt that wrong) Also Davis in reception and the two tour company representatives. Food was great, the only thing I think would be beneficial would be to add a larger a la carte menu and for this to be also available at night. The hotel is beautiful, but the staff here really make this place special. We are already looking to return next year! Thank you for a memorable holiday.
