Boasting a splendid setting between mountains and sea, this charming Provençal style guesthouse is set in the historic town centre of Hermanus, overlooking the picturesque Old Harbour. Simply amazing! Also one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The staff was very friendly - in particular a big shout out to Michaela at the reception. It felt like you really cared about our holidays and that is not standard. Anytime again!

The little touches that the owners put together to make your stay more homely. Flowers, wine, beer and water. The bed was so comfy and the shower powerful. The breakfast was superb you had everything you could ask for. The property was only a short walk approx 15-20 mins by coastal or main road to Hermanus main area. Elizma and Johan would also book you into the restaurant of your choice and also arrange taxi. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

The guest house itself was immaculately clean and neat, with a cozy atmosphere that made us feel very comfortable. The amenities were top-notch, and I appreciated the attention to detail that made our stay so enjoyable. I would highly recommend Nivenia Beach House to anyone looking for a warm and inviting place to stay. The host's hospitality and the guest house's comfort and cleanliness make it a true gem. Lovely, spacious & homely accommodation provided by a caring and helpful host, Anita. Little touches make for a truly welcoming stay. Nice clean rooms and a delightful breakfast, served in your room or on the lawn. Our goto place to stay in Hermanus and highly recommended.

Modern and beautifully decorated and the most comfortable beds ever! Host is just lovely and attention to detail was amazing. Even provides a beach bag with beach towels to use and the ‘emergency kit’ 👏 Provided unexpected groceries on arrival and treats- just a fabulous stay from start to finish. 10/10
