Top notch experience staying at Potami Seashell. I extended my stay from 4 days to 3 weeks. It was fabulous, right on the beautiful Ionian Sea, tucked inside the bay of Himare, quaint family owned hotel with a small, tasty restaurant, decorated effortlessly cool. Dimitra is incredible - helpful, funny, respectful and her experience with her own travel makes her an attuned and excellent host. Dimitra's mother, Vaso, and sister, Athena, prepare many of their dishes with fresh cheeses, vegetables and meats sourced from the families garden. It's the best location in Himare - to one direction you have a short walk along the seaside boardwalk into the center of town and in the other direction is a bluff, where you can hike to a kind of hidden and beautiful beach inside a canyon. This was exactly the experience I was looking for. A beautiful, cozy, affordable corner of the world to relax and feel at home. I went at the end of September and into early October. It's the end of tourist season, the weather was gorgeous, mostly sunny and warm and a few cool stormy days. The water temperature perfect and calm seas. Could it get any better? Dreaming of my return.

Amazing apartment with beautiful balcony looking over the sea. For our family there was lots of space. It was extremely clean, and if any problems they were answered immediately. We loved Himare

Situated in Himare, just a few steps from Potam Beach, Magic Ionian Apartments & Rooms features beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, a garden and free WiFi. Petro was amazing. Super friendly, loads of detail, very responsive, lots of discussion of the area, gave us a bottle of olive oil to try from his parents’ olive grove. Only steps away from restaurants including Taverna Stolis with great food and garden. Allowed us to stay a few hours after checkout and borrow some beach towels for the day. His dad found our son’s memory card from digital camera on the beach. Mom did our son’s laundry. So kind.

Everyone was very kind, and Nila speaks very good English. They helped me a lot to discover the best the place has to offer and are very generous with everything. The hotel is in a beautiful and quiet part of Himare, and everything there is pleasant, delicious, and peaceful. The room has a beautiful sea view and is located in the most beautiful part of the local beach.

Amazing location with a view of the sea and the mountains. The apartments had really nice interiors and the beds were really comfortable. The manager, Alexandra really made our stay here. She was very welcoming and friendly, giving us lots of recommendations of things to do and places to eat while we were in Himare.

Spyridoula's Guest House features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Himare, a few steps from Potam Beach. The property has city and inner courtyard views. The guest house was off the main drag, so nicely placed away from too much noise and tourists, but still a very easy walk down to Potami Beach. Our room did not have a view, but was instead nicely located next to a little garden. Being at the back of the building made it a lot cooler! There were a fair few mosquitoes outside, but the room had mosquito nets on all windows. The breakfast was fantastic - freshly made and varied, with new things on offer every day. Our hosts spoke no English, but we got by with Google translate. They were extremely kind and even shared their delicious dinner with me one day! We loved staying here!
