Set in Fernando de Noronha and with Praia do Cachorro reachable within 200 metres, Ilha Hostel offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a shared lounge. From the moment of check-in until check-out we enjoyed our stay at Ilha hostel. We were greeted by Alessandre who is one of the owners. He explained everything about the hostel/rules etc and also great to know is that the hostel is working together with touroperators/ diving companies and sometimes they have a better price if you book with the hostel direct instead of with an agency. The hostel also contacted me 3 days before via WhatsApp asking if we wanted to have one bed or two separate beds as both were available and also provided information about excursions, items for rent etc. In addition, the location is great, it is within walking distance from the beaches of Praia do Cachorro, Praia do Meio and Praia de Conceicao. Also, stores, restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. We took the bus from the airport to Ilha hostel (which took about 15/20 minutes) and it was 5 Brazilian reais per person and on the way back to the airport we took a taxi which took about 10/15 minutes and was 40 Brazilian reais. Further, if you are interested in diving, the Atlantis Diving Center is next to the hostel which makes it convenient to plan a dive with them. We met also amazing people at the hostel during our stay. We want to thank Alessandre and Katia for their hospitality and for all their help!

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with a warm smile from Leo, the manager, whose passion for hospitality was evident in every detail. We really enjoyed the property as the staff were so friendly and helpful! The location was superb as you’re just steps away from many great restaurants, shops, and also near praia do cachorro! The place is also part of a delicious restaurant called Maré, which you cannot miss out on!!

This beautiful guesthouse sits on the stunning island of Fernando de Noronha, only 250 metres from Cachorro Beach. Breafast and all meals were excellent, especially the fruit and vegetables from the organic kitchen garden.. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
