The rooms are very dated and should be renovated, but the TVs are great, as is the view. The bathrooms are realllly dated. The hotel itself is just breathtaking, and the front desk staff were super helpful. The pseudo private beach is mind-blowing, as are the views.

The view is amazing, and the apartment is clean, well-equipped, and very spacious for a one-bedroom apartment. The beach is just a few steps away, and the surrounding feels safe, even for a solo traveler. That said, I still followed the usual safety precautions and avoided walking around late at night. Overall, it was a great place to stay and waking up to such a lovely view every morning was a real highlight of the stay. There is a small market and a pharmacy nearby where you can pick up essentials such as water, snacks, and other necessities. Within a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute Uber ride, you can reach Leblon, where you’ll find a great selection of restaurants, cafés, and shops. It was easy to walk along the beach to Leblon during the day, and I simply took an Uber back to the apartment in the evening.
