We are glad we stayed in this apartment and in this area of San Andres.

When I arrived I was told by the owner they did not have e space for me. She did not help me to find another place.

Miss Margaritas´s House ligger ca. 7,3 km fra San Andrés-bugten og har en have, gårdhave og udsigt til en have. Everything was perfect. Ms Margarita is a wonderful host and a sweet lady. She was very helpful with local information, scooter rental, and island tours. The casita has everything you need for a short or longer- term stay. It is separate from the main house so you feel very independent. Walking to the beach San Luis is 1 minute and we had the best meal of our vacation at the restaurant San Luis Beach Club right there. We went to Centro a few times and are sooo glad we stayed at Ms Margaritas place...much more quiet and relaxing than the centro area - and only 10 min. bus ride from directly in front of her house. Some reviews complains about Toby, the dog being on a leash. I believe those comments are over sensitive and unnecessary. Toby is very well taken care of and a happy dog. He is full of energy and sometimes is on the long leash (2+ Mt) for his safety and security as the road is in front of the house. Toby was free to roam much of the time we are there and Ms Margarita is home. Oh, I suggest the breakfast option- fresh fruit, huevos al gusto, arepa and coffee, served on the patio in front of the casita if you wish ... Delightful! We miss her as we travel around Colombia, and I can't recommend her place enough.

The beds were comfortable, and the AC was working well. There are three good bathrooms, totally sufficient if fully booked. Everything was clean. The host was very friendly and spoke some English. If you want, you can also book tours, cars, etc., through the host. We had a very pleasant stay.

Escalona's place ligger i San Andrés, 2 minutters gang fra Playa San Luis Strand, og har en have, en terrasse og gratis privat parkering. There is a lovely garden; the kitchen is super equipped and the lady that runs the place is one of the loveliest person I ever met. She is renting out the rooms of her two children that moved out of the house so this is basically a private house. There is a supermarket just nearby and a beach. It is really easy to grab the bus to move around the island
