They showered us with attention, even lending us their bikes to explore the area. In short, I highly recommend this place. If you want to meet Greeks, spend time with them, and feel like part of their family, this is the place for you. I'll be back with Yannis and Iliana every time I return to Malia. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay around Malia then you will find Sea View apartments is perfect. Right on Mali Port walking distance to several great restaurants and beaches. We had a late arrival but our host met us when we arrived and even put some fresh fruit in the room for us to get us started our first morning. Daily housekeeping kept everything fresh and in order. There is plenty of parking and since the apartments are at the end of the road so there is no traffic noise.

A genuinely good hotel where you immediately feel at home — or as if you’ve come to visit family or close friends. The staff are extremely polite, positive, and always ready to help with any request, yet never intrusive. Nothing disturbs your relaxation here. The food and service are absolutely 10 out of 10. The location was perfect for us — peaceful and surrounded by nature. If you prefer lively nightlife, cafes, bars, and parties, this isn’t the place for you. But if you value tranquility and beautiful surroundings, you’ll love it here. A couple of small suggestions: the rooms could use a bit of renovation as they feel a little tired, and while the mattress is quite soft (which I personally liked), others might prefer something firmer. It’s also a pity that smoking is allowed on the balconies — though that’s common in many hotels. Overall, I can say one thing: I truly recommend this place!
