Right on the beach, so lovely listening to the waves at night, and the food was awesome. Super casual - the staff were soooo chilled. They didn’t even seem to realise we were booked to come and just said 'ok, no worries, here's your room.' 😆 Very casual, great stay on the beach and lovely humans all round.

I always complain that everything gets totally overrated, but this place is completely underrated. No idea what people are complaining about. We were hesitating to book it because of the reviews and totally loved it. Directly on the beach, with stunning views on top of a lovely cafe and a nice pool in the backyard. WiFi is not the fastest true but who cares and maybe a good moment to put the stupid devise away. We as a family with kids 8 and 11 can’t wait to be back and watch the sunset and the surfer from the terrace.

The view is absolutely stunning—do yourself a favor and book here instead of settling for a place without a view or surrounded by nearby construction (which is quite common in Bali). We loved the calmness of the place and the fact that you can hear ocean waves 🌊 at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and greatly appreciated the kindness of the staff. La Joya Balangan Resort ligt op 2 minuten wandelen van het strand van Balangan en op 20 minuten rijden van de Uluwatu-tempel. De bungalows zijn opgetrokken uit lokaal geproduceerde witte kalksteen. Alles klopt hier!! Echt fantastisch!
