We had a lovely stay at this small and charming hotel, which has a cozy Scandinavian/European feel. The design is simple and inviting. It’s worth noting that this is a small boutique-style hotel located right next to a large chain hotel, and the two are not really comparable. If you’re expecting full-service facilities, this might not be the place, but if you appreciate a more relaxed and unique atmosphere, it’s a great choice. The staff didn’t speak much English, but they were very kind and helpful. We managed without any problems using Google Translate. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice bed and a large fridge, which was very convenient. Everything felt well maintained. There is no restaurant on site, but the hotel offers simple ready-to-cook meals, as well as wine and soft drinks in the reception area. Breakfast was good and had a nice, cozy feel. We also ordered food via Coupang Eats and ate it in the dining area, which worked perfectly. The location is quiet and relaxing, and in the summer it must be ideal, especially if you plan to spend time at the beach nearby.

Delta Hotel is situated in Gangneung, 32 km from Pyeongchang Olympic Plaza and 2 km from Heogyun-Heonanseolheon Memorial. It's a cozy small hotel, located "on" the beach. Close to restaurants, GS25, nature and the East Sea. I'm not the one looking for a fancy place to stay and pay excessive money to sleep. The staff was welcoming, warm and very helpful. I traveled with my daughter for business and leisure. We're booking it next time we come back, if we'll stay in this area. We "woke up" with the sunrise in our "room", beautiful!
