Our stay in Domaine de Benveau was only for a night but it will stay in my memory for a very very long time. We were on our way to the South of France from the UK and I believe that meeting Marie-Solange, Claudine, Guillaume and our co-guest Laurent was a highlight of our French Summer. The house is beautiful, the atmosphere is very cosy, art and beauty are everywhere, inside and outside. All the delicate attentions, from the refreshments to the eggs you had cooked for us because we arrived a bit late, the deep and friendly conversations, the laughs and the ball games with my children, the home made aperitif, the documents about the area, the drawings from Guillaume to my children, the games between Claudine and my son, the tomatoes from the garden, the flowers that only open by night, the ice-creams we shared in the evening, the delicious breakfast in the morning... The owners are very friendly and helpfull. They gave us so many tips about what to do in the beautiful area. The bed is big and comfy, the shower is great and clean and the breakfast is delicious.

Excellent breakfast. Nothing in the immediate vicinity but no problem if you have transport. Great if you like something a little different and with character. Air conditioning a bonus when there in very hot weather. Good value and would book again if in the area. Friendly host.
