Chateau de Gouyas very much exceeded my expectations!! It was a stylish comfortable serene modern fairytale!!!! The exemplary hosts Shelby & Dominique were so considerate, personable and always willing to engage with us whenever needed and also very much respected our privacy. The oh so many different rooms are decorated with a stylish worldy integrity. There are so many idyllic settings to use that you could almost get lost as it is grandiose and spacious. The location is glorious & serene and conveniently located to many wonderful villages & towns abundant in history and athentic charm. I will be returning there again soon I hope.

The owner, Angela, and her partner Philippe were super friendly and interesting. The landscaping, gardens, pool and petanque terrain - all of it was wonderful. It's inspiring just to stroll the grounds.

We stayed for 7 days and loved every minute.The people ....and their fogs are so lovely.The house and grounds are beautiful. The walk down to the river was so beautiful.Our dog was made so welcome and he had a brilliant week.

It was our first experience staying in the châteaux. And it was splendid. The place is beautifully renovated and designed, and we spent some time just admiring all the little design details. Our host was fantastic and made sure everything was perfect for us. The breakfast in the living room, with its view of the green garden, was delicious. This place is so much more here than just a place to sleep. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, corn hole game, and just chilling in a the hammock, discovering a bamboo garden. We were looking for a peaceful escape from city life, and this place gave us even more than we expected. Thanks a million, Ewa and her family! Wishing you all the best!
