Nice, clean, bright, comfortable room. Turckheim is beautiful, and probably the best place for stay closest to Colmar.

The couple in charge of the property are delightful!!. Our host made the most delicious breakfast. It was unbelievable, and she made all of the items herself. She is also an artist and has the suit decorated beautifully. We would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Wow factor when the wooden gates were opened. Like a castle in miniature! Amazing , welcoming hosts in weather that threatened to drown the unwary. The attention to detail was impressive and other establishments could learn a lot from these hosts. The town was pretty with cobbled streets and the bakery first class. Fresh bread and croissants were delivered for our breakfast. Coffee machine did what it said on the label and gave a " vroom" for the day.

Our host was very friendly and tolerant of our poor French. We had the entire first floor of the house which also contained a small outside deck. The breakfast prepared by the host were excellent and much appreciated. We were able to park our car in their driveway at no extra cost. The property was close to Colmar and many other interesting historical places.

Le Clos Marguerite is such a gem! If you want to experience a warm and inviting place, look no further than this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Manon and Michel have beautifully renovated this old house into a piece of art. The attention to detail is inspiring. They are so friendly, kind, hospitable and make such an effort to create a home away from home. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bed was perfect and we slept so well! Breakfast is customized to what you would like specifically and the table is set up in such an inviting way down in the beautiful dining room. We were celebrating our 15th anniversary and this place was perfect for it! Ammerschwir is a darling village and less touristy than most other Alsacian villages...so it's nice and quiet and not overrun with a bunch of tourists. Los Clos Marguerite is within walking distance of the Michelin-star Restaurant Julien Binz. It was great to have a wonderful meal, drink a bunch of wine, and then just walk back to the B&B and relax comfortably in our room. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back again!
