The location is great ( not for the faint of heart though - the road to Allihies is rather challenging but worthwhile) The room is everything you can ask for after a long day: clean line design, comfortable and spacious. Mary is a great host, very accommodating, and the breakfast generous and varied. If we had the chance we would have stayed a whole week

Fran, our host, is the loveliest person you can meet. She's a people's person and she makes you feel at home. The view is just breathtaking, the room was very spacious and had all we could ask for. We had a really nice diner and if you chose to do as well, don't miss the cheese platter. Ask for advice on sightseeing, you'll want to follow the recommendations and you won't be disappointed.

A lovely town, well worth the visit, and such a lovely host - the breakfast was the best we had in Ireland! You will need to do a short drive to town to get dinner etc.

Lovely b&b located centrally in Castletownbere. Owners communicated exceptionally well through app & assisted with every need. Spent 2 night prior to the start of my hike & the first night I had gotten in quite late & they had left homemade chocolate chip cookies & makings for tea :)

The host was very friendly, warm an knowledgeable around the area. Every suggestion was very good. We had a room to the street and we're able to sleep really well. If you're very sensitive to noise you can request a room to the back. We liked the breakfast and everything.
