A comfortable room in a large house on the quiet outskirts of Dualla a couple of miles from Cashel. Our host Tommy was very welcoming and keen to give us tips on local sight-seeing. Breakfasts were very generous with lots of choice. Ample parking on site.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
We wanted somewhere quiet ,rural and authentic for our visit to the Rock of Cashel and Cahir. We were so fortunate to have chosen Shadowvale: Theresa and Morgan are exemplary hosts, the rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The supplied breakfast was prepared by our hosts each morning, to order for our preferences, and was delicious, generous and quickly served. We felt like we were staying with family, in a luxury country estate. We cannot fault Shadowvale.
Very friendly and accommodating. Early check in was facilitated with no difficulty. Excellent breakfast. Spacious room. Beautiful views. Peaceful and quiet.
A beautiful room, excellent breakfast, very warm welcome. lots of little touches, quiet rural location just be aware it’s about 20 mins to nearest pub/ restaurant
Gerry left us plenty of useful things to use,the house itself was warm and extremely comfortable, each bedroom having its own bathroom, very quiet surroundings, also Bansha down the road{6km} has the cheapest fuel we've seen in a long time,eur1.59.9. all good.
Nice and cosy room and private bathroom with TV, towels, closet, bedding. Quiet and comfortable at a good location. Nice pub underneath, too. Good and divers breakfast. Thank you. :)
Morgan and Theresa are a charming couple and wonderful hosts, and have a lovely house, though outside is still a work in progress. We loved their very unusual shaped dining table where we had an excellent breakfast.
