A warm welcome from Rosanna who escorted me to the Casa Armando, which would have been hard to find without her. It is very central but this is a borgo medievale so a warren of small streets and steep lanes and staircases. If you are brave, bring the car closer, but it is fine parked outside the Post Office and it's a short and very pleasant walk, so not really necessary. The room is modern and very comfortable with every facility. Wonderful breakfast with home-made conserves and cappuccinoIt is nice to hear the life of the town outside but it gets very peaceful after nightfall, with only the sound of owls. If you stay on a Monday ( I was there in October too) you will find no restaurants, but there are two friendly shops that can provide good food with a smile. Beautiful town with very steep streets and many buildings damaged by 1905 earthquake, including the castle. People are very proud of the town - I watched a lady sweep up every leaf on the main thoroughfare into the village centre - and houses like Casa Armando will help bring more visitors and keep the town alive Well worth a visit to Cleto.

Just have to say that we have been traveling around Europe for 2months & Le Maison Di Ida would have to be the best B&B we stayed in for sure. Michelle the host was very welcoming & accommodating, always a phone call aways when not at the Premises, went above & beyond for our needs. Breakfast was Local Freshly Local made Bakery Rolls also Cold meats, Fresh Cheese Platter, Cornetti of all Flavours, Local Fruits, Yogurts, Fresh Juices & how else to start the morning in Calabria with your own Barrister the host Michelle making fresh coffee ☕ every morning with a smile ☺ Rooms are freshly renovated very comfortable beds, air-conditioned TV with your own bathroom, shower & toilet with a modern design. Then you got the outside pool that keeps the kids happy & busy during the day when you want a day off from the beach or sightseeing with sunbeds, umbrellas & don't forget the bar near the pool which was magnificent not having to go out to buy your own drinks & not having anything to keeping them cold. Thanks to everyone at Le Maison di Ida for a memoriable stay & definitely will be coming back in the near future 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great location near bars, restaurants and beach. Immaculate place with amazing hosts who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I was travelling on my own but near felt alone. The hosts would drop me at the beach and pick me up. Also took me sight seeing and put me in touch with estate agents. A lovely breakfast is served with good fresh coffee included in the price. This is the first time I have stayed at a bed and breakfast. Had an amazing experience and I will consider B&Bs more in the future. I highly recommend Aprile whether you are travelling solo, as a couple or a family. To the hosts, grazie and I will see you soon 😊.

It was love at first sight. We had driven 5 hours and we were tired and the owners greeted us so warmly and showed great pride in their wonderful villa. It only got better from there. It was difficult to leave this very calming respite. Many thanks to our lovely hosts. The outside kitchen was a splendid bonus.
