Complete with a private bathroom fitted with a bidet and free toiletries, all guest rooms at La Scala del Sale have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms also offer a balcony. At the accommodation all rooms include bed linen and towels. Very charming accommodation in the historic center of Iglesias. Spotless clean (as the town itself!), very friendly and welcoming hosts, spacious but cozy room with great beds, good breakfast (extended Italian standard with additional cereal, yoghurt, Sardinian sweets and cookies). The hosts adhered to the new rules due to Covid very strictly and we felt secure all the time. Be aware - the accommodation is located in the historic center with narrow streets and no parking options. We actually almost got stuck during the attempt to reach it with our rental car. A call to our host, and he picked us up at a nearby meeting point. Better park for free near Via Sant'Antioco and walk the last bit! The hosts tried to make us feel comfortable all the time, for example by providing us with frozen bottles of water for our day trips during the heat wave. Thanks so much Roberto, we thought of you when we had a cold sip of water even in the afternoon =)! The town itself was welcoming and friendly, and the accompodation is perfectly located to explore from there.

Possibility to do a late check in. You can take your breakfast at any time, everything is already in the room. The location is perfect. The room is not so modern but we don't need it to be, the quality/price is wonderful. Thank you!!!

Metalla is a great place to stay, it's in a quiet street just 5 minutes walk from city centre,with plenty on street parking. The room is bright and clean, with a small balcony, and the bed is super comfortable. The host was extremely helpful and nice,communication was easy and quick.
