We booked the traditional house for 3 nights as a group of friends and we had an amazing time! The property itself is so beautiful and well-preserved, it just transports you back to the previous century. Our hosts were very helpful and welcoming and made sure to make our stay a wonderful one. We had the luck to experience this place during heavy snow (which made it look like winter wonderland!), so now we can’t wait to go back and see it in the summer as well!

If you are looking for a traditional taste and the comfort of the Romanian countryside, this is the place for you . The maramures people are warm and kind. The village where Casa Traditiilor is located is beautiful. The host was warm and friendly, the room was spotless, spacious, the homemade dishes were absolutely amazing and exquisite. One of our best stays. I rate this place a 10+. You will enjoy your stay. It is absolutely worth it! ❤️ I will come back and stay here.

We liked the village and our room had a terrace with a great view. The meals were delicious and we enjoyed eating them outside on the patio. The hosts were friendly and social. They had a super cute and fun dog that stole the show. Ieud was a nice place to walk around. Absolutely recommend!!!

Wonderful host! Tasteful food (we served breakfast and dinner). Quiet place. Clean and comfortable room. Very nice design of room, dining room and terrace. Wonderful garden and beautiful flowers. Good place to get rid of any stress. Parking place is great.

Gospodăria Klaus is relaxing, well maintained and perfectly situated. It’s location is great for visiting the Happy Cemetery at Sapanta, Cascada Cailor and Mocanita. The host is wonderful and her cooking amazing. I highly recommend trying her dishes. Gospodăria Klaus is a stunning example of life in Maramures and its working villages.
