Flora's House, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Calgary, 3.6 km from McMahon Stadium, 8.3 km from Crowchild Twin Arena, as well as 10 km from Devonian Gardens. We loved Flora’s house. It is so spacious, modern and clean! The house is located in a quiet residential area, close to a large shopping centre. The kitchen is really big and well equipped, including a large fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher, laundry/dryer and microwave. Flora provides cleaning supplies for the kitchen and laundry detergent. The adjacent living room has a large TV and a very comfy sofa. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. There is a large bedside table either side of the bed, a small desk and a wardrobe. We had the en-suite bathroom with two sinks and walk in shower. Shower pressure was excellent and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel) were also provided. Two bath towels and two hand towels were provided per guest. The house doesn’t have air conditioning but there are stand up fans in the bedrooms. There are two bedrooms in the house we stayed in. There was another couple also staying there when we stayed but this wasn’t an issue at all. They were really nice and there was plenty of space in the house for everyone. Parking is available on the street outside.

Quiet residential location, which felt entirely safe. Panoramic views across to Rockies in far distance. Warm welcome from host. Good value for money - offers excellent standard of service and accommodation, comparable to many high-class hotels I’ve stayed in elsewhere.

Situated in Edmonton, 2.2 km from West Edmonton Mall, The Dewberry Homestay B&B has a garden, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access. This couple used to host international stays but have now switched to a traditional B&B format. So they are experts at providing a quintessential Canadian breakfast and experience. I hope more traditional B&Bs can come back, I forgot how great they are! Just remember you are staying in someone's home. It is not a hotel with a paid staff, but rather a very welcoming and generous couple with good bed, conversation and breakfast.

Ambleside Lodge Bed & Breakfast features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Canmore, 27 km from The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies. Best accomodation we had in Canada. Cosy, comfortable and clean. The interior decoration was tasteful and thematic. Hosts made us feel at home.

Edvina is the perfect host, she gave us great tips. The location is peaceful and within walking distance from downtown. Many breakfast items to choose from. Highly recommended
