Wonderful small hotel in secluded tropical location with view of river. Room was large and had screens to let the warm breeze through. Amazing pool! Property is close to Tayrona Park entrance, also walkable to picturesque beach and bar. They also arranged activities with local guides. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hostal Principio Tayrona, a property with a garden, is set in Calabazo, 24 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, 27 km from Santa Marta Gold Museum, as well as 27 km from Santa Marta Cathedral. Perfectly located right at the Calabazo entrance for the Tayrona parc. The ticket office is not even 50m away, allowing a very early entry in the parc! Very clean room, good breakfast in a lovely patio. The hosts were very welcoming and happy to wait for us arriving at 11pm.

I’ve never stayed somewhere where the manager has been so friendly, welcoming and helpful before and during my stay! Thank you so much for that. The hotel is cute - really pretty and well kept gardens and a pool to use as well. The rooms are basic but you get exactly what you pay for. Would recommend to anyone who wants great value for money when visiting Tayrona park.

Villa Del Río is located near El Zaino and 6 km from Los Cocos Beach. It features free parking. Each room here will provide you with a fan. The private bathroom also comes with a shower. The hosts are very kind and helpful! We left our luggage there before going into Tayrona park for a night. After we spend two days in the park we came back and they had the room and luggage ready for us. It's very close to El Zaino entrance and the bus to/from Palomino and Santa Marta comes by every few minutes. Swimming pool was very nice to cool down. Overall very relaxed!

Posada Villa Margarita in Santa Marta, just 5 km from the Tayrona National Park, offers an on-site restaurant which features a free daily continental breakfast, a hammock-filled garden and free... Lovely family-run place perched on a hill overlooking the jungle and sea. Really wonderful people. Our daughters loved playing with the animals on site. The food was also very good. How about that view from the pool! And the nearby beach is magical.
