Although we didn't speak the same language we managed to communicate with the lovely owners. Breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Situated in Limburg an der Lahn, in a building dating from 1900, Konrads Limburg - Hotel & Gästehaus features a terrace and guestrooms with free WiFi. The property features river and city views. It's a wonderful old building close to the river, very well renovated to a superior standard. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are large. Our family had two rooms (#4 and #5), the first one with 35m² the other one with 25m². We loved the design throughout - the wall colours, the floorboards, the benches along the walls, the wood panels, etc. Breakfast has to be ordered in advance, but I'd advise to take it. It's of great quality, plentiful, and the breakfast room is nice. The old part of the town is just 5 mins walking distance away. Be aware, it's not a hotel with a reception, hence the name Gästehaus (guesthouse). The upside of this is, the rooms are equipped with a fridge, a sink, cutlery, plates and cups. In the evenings we saw guests eating takeaway food in the breakfast room. Very convenient if you don't want to eat out every day.
