Newly renovated from the ground up. WiFi works fine. Supermarket just across the street. Perfect location for a lot of hiking. Easily reachable by car as well as public transport. Despite this being an active railway station, the trains didn't bother me sound wise. With the windows closed, sound isolation was extremely good, and even sleeping with the window open was OK (I will add that my room was on the street side of the building, however).

The guest house has private entrance. ​I was very, very happy with the accommodation. The place and the room made a very good impression—it was so beautiful! The owner was very kind and helped me with everything. The breakfast was also enough and very good. I really recommend this place!

Fine hotel with good food and brekky, right on the Rennsteig - we were hiking that one. Really all very positive so I can be short! Nice hosts too!
