Starlight Mountain Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Sigchos, where guests can make the most of its water sports facilities and fitness centre. Victor and his family were so kind and welcoming. I arrived to a lovely fire and within a few minutes of arriving had a meal ready for me. Breakfast was a huge meal and prices for the lunch is really good. It was such a nice place with beautiful view, so quiet and peaceful and right next to the start of the quilotoa loop trek.

With mountain views, Hostal el Vaquero is set in Chugchilán and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and children's playground. The owner, victor, was the absolute best and he took care of all of the wants and needs of the group. He cooked a stunning dinner and breakfast and gave us the best details for the hike.

Located in Isinliví, Hostal Taita Cristobal offers accommodation with seating area. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The staff is always so kind, this was my second time staying here and they really make the experience great. The included dinner is amazing, and the set up is great to meet new people. There are plenty of blankets for the chilly weather.

Set in Chugchilán, Hostal the backpackers provides accommodation with a public bath. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The room was a lovely, spacious and comfortable so was great value for money. The main attraction of this hostel however and what sets it apart from other hostels is the people who work there. They will make an incredible effort to make you feel welcome and part of their wonderful family. Maria is also an excellent cook so you will receive a lovely breakfast and dinner and will make you a packed lunch for the next day on request. I couldn’t recommend this hostel more to anyone looking for an authentic and wholesome stay with some lovely people.

Situated in Chasqui, El Chasqui Guest House offers accommodation with a patio. This property offers access to a terrace, darts, free private parking and free WiFi. The owner was very welcoming and nice with every detail or need. Our overall experience was very good and the place we clean. Even towels were new. The breakfast was amazing! totally surpased my expectations.

Cabañas Quilotoa is situated in Quilotoa and offers a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. The property has garden and quiet street views. Cabañas quilotoa is a lovely and cozy place. The owners were super helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was really good and it was good value for the price. Pizza was specially good! We got a full breakfast included in the price, and it exceeded our expectations by far. They offer unlimited coffee and tea. The rooms come with a wood stove that helped warm the room and made the experience really good. The location was perfect, a 3 minute walk to the entrance of the lagoon.

Set in Zumbagua, Hotel Imperial Zumbahua & Quilotoa Lodge offers 3-star accommodation with a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. Staff was very flexible. I asked for an early breakfast at 6am and they not only delivered but had a taxi ready to immediately take me to Quilotoa ($5). Highly recimmended.

Set in Latacunga, Hostel Tierra de Fuego offers a bar. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge.... Really cozy low-budget place. The host is very friendly. You can rent everything you for the hiking tours in the surroundings at the hostel. Big plus: you can see the Cotopaxi Volcano from the roof terrace and the host welcomed us with local shots.
