A recently renovated guest house in Sigchos, Starlight Mountain Lodge offers children's playground, private parking and sports facilities. I spent one night at this lodge before starting the Quilotoa Loop and I absolutely loved it. It feels just like home — the welcome was so warm and friendly. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious and very generous. The view is stunning, and you can enjoy it from your bed, the dining area, and all around the outdoor spaces. I highly recommend this place, especially for the kindness of the people.

With mountain views, Hostal el Vaquero is set in Chugchilán and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and children's playground. Easy Check in and super friendly host. Great diner, where Victor met our needs as we are fructose intolerance. Bed was comfy, shower was good. Great location final stage of the Quilotoa Loop starts at the hostel. Breakfast was amazing, especially tghe cheese sandwich was insanely good. Got three of them on the Trek. Sauna for 3 USD is also available. Highly recomand to stay.

Food was amazing! the common area was cosy and we could light a fire to dry our wet hiking clothes. the host was super lovely

Golden Rest Latacunga has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Latacunga. This 3-star inn offers room service and a concierge service. An absolutely stunning old historical building with great views from the roof. This is a proper hotel, rather than a hostel (their hostel-hostel is in the basement), so no real kitchen access, but the staff is lovely and the accomodations are super clean and comfy. I was in the 6-bed dorm (this is the only dorm which is in the upstairs hotel portion rather than in the hostel area), and it was great.

Set in Chugchilán, Hostal the backpackers provides accommodation with a public bath. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Walter and Narcisa were so kind to us! It felt more like a home stay than a hostal. They even arranged a special breakfast for my husbands birthday! I would absolutely recommend this hostal to anyone! The shower was hot, the beds were comfortable, and the food was delicious. There is also a lovely patio space upstairs.

A cool and discreet place with an entrance at a gas station, yet surprisingly quiet and pleasant. They offer a good breakfast, and there’s an excellent restaurant just a 5-minute walk away with stunning views of the Cotopaxi volcano.

Cabañas Quilotoa is situated in Quilotoa and offers a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. The property has garden and quiet street views. Cabañas quilotoa is a lovely and cozy place. The owners were super helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was really good and it was good value for the price. Pizza was specially good! We got a full breakfast included in the price, and it exceeded our expectations by far. They offer unlimited coffee and tea. The rooms come with a wood stove that helped warm the room and made the experience really good. The location was perfect, a 3 minute walk to the entrance of the lagoon.
