A recently renovated guest house in Sigchos, Starlight Mountain Lodge offers children's playground, private parking and sports facilities. The owners are very kind and welcoming people. And the price is super affordable! I got some extra tips for the hike. They allowed me to leave some of my bags there so I didn't have to carry them in the mountains.

With mountain views, Hostal el Vaquero is set in Chugchilán and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and children's playground. Owners worked very hard to satisfy us, food was excellent, rooms were large, lots of blankets and a nice countryside smell. You get so much more for such a small price. We had a nice steam bath and the view of the canyon is unique and absolutely breathtaking.

Set in Chugchilán, Hostal the backpackers provides accommodation with a public bath. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Walter and Narcisa were so kind to us! It felt more like a home stay than a hostal. They even arranged a special breakfast for my husbands birthday! I would absolutely recommend this hostal to anyone! The shower was hot, the beds were comfortable, and the food was delicious. There is also a lovely patio space upstairs.

Cabañas Quilotoa is situated in Quilotoa and offers a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. The property has garden and quiet street views. The location could not have been better. All the attractions, shops, and restaurants are within walking distance. The village is very pretty, and the experience felt truly authentic. One of the most important features for this area is that every room has a real wood-burning stove for heating. The staff starts the fire when you check into your room, which is a wonderful touch. The staff was sweet, and the breakfast was beautifully prepared.

Set in Zumbagua, Hotel Imperial Zumbahua & Quilotoa Lodge offers 3-star accommodation with a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. Really nice hotel with amazing paintings! She prepared a really delicious meal for us too, surprised us with decoration for our honeymoon and turned on the whirlpool just for us. Everything was great and it's a good spot to start to the quiltao Lagune and rest when it's raining.
