Hostal the backpackers ligger i Chugchilán og har en fellesstue i tillegg til en terrasse og en bar. The owners are the nicest people in the world who will give you an authentic experience. It was their dream to open a hostal and meet other people with other cultures, so they did this at an older age and combine 4 jobs to pay for it... The facilities are basic but all clean and worthwile the price. Our breakfast was one of the best so far in Ecuador. The lunch box we asked was even more amazing (a big box with fried rice, omelet, vegetables,...). There is a little rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the sun and the view over the mountains.

Very warm and friendly family business, we had dinner together and some nice talks. Most of the food is grown organically behind the house. The hosts also gave good recommendations about the quilotoa hike. It looks like it is a little off the loop track but actually it is not, you just go up from the view point and you will be right there! The room was comfortable with view on the mountains. Highly recommend to stay here, I would have loved to stay longer

Cabañas Quilotoa tilbyr en hage, fellesstue, en terrasse og restaurant i Quilotoa. I had an excellent experience. The location is perfect central yet peaceful, and the ambiance is cozy and welcoming. My room was spacious, comfortable, and featured a fireplace that I enjoyed using daily.  The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Ronald, who assisted me with walking routes, transportation, and even arranged a guide for me. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and the overall atmosphere made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

I Zumbagua ligger Hotel Imperial Zumbahua & Quilotoa Lodge, som tilbyr 3-stjerners overnatting og tilgang til en fellesstue, en restaurant og en bar. Really nice hotel with amazing paintings! She prepared a really delicious meal for us too, surprised us with decoration for our honeymoon and turned on the whirlpool just for us. Everything was great and it's a good spot to start to the quiltao Lagune and rest when it's raining.
