I rarely give 10 points but this place deserves it! yes it can be chilly at night, yes it is in the middle of the countryside (so you need a car to reach it) but the kindness of the owners are exceptional! My son got altitude sickness and the owners did their best to cure him + they helped us finding accommodation in other part of Ecuador without hesitation (since our mobil didn't work here). The dinner and the breakfast are tasty, fresh homemade and plenty. The same applies to the breakfast. The garden of the house is beautiul and well maintained and there is a nice panorama over the canyon. Quilotoa lake is a short drive from here. The hotel has turkish bath and sauna but we didn't try them at the end. The wifi is strong. :)

Hostal the backpackers ligger i Chugchilán og har en fellesstue i tillegg til en terrasse og en bar. This is one of the best hostels i ve stayed. Is like being home because everything is just perfect and the owners are very warm and helpful and make you feel a member of the family Is in perfect position for hiking the Quilotoa loop and the dinner and breakfast are very good. Wonderful family and very comfortable place! Don't miss it!

Our overall experience was very good and the place we clean. Even towels were new. The breakfast was amazing! totally surpased my expectations.

Cabañas Quilotoa tilbyr en hage, fellesstue, en terrasse og restaurant i Quilotoa. The location could not have been better. All the attractions, shops, and restaurants are within walking distance. The village is very pretty, and the experience felt truly authentic. One of the most important features for this area is that every room has a real wood-burning stove for heating. The staff starts the fire when you check into your room, which is a wonderful touch. The staff was sweet, and the breakfast was beautifully prepared.

I Zumbagua ligger Hotel Imperial Zumbahua & Quilotoa Lodge, som tilbyr 3-stjerners overnatting og tilgang til en fellesstue, en restaurant og en bar. Really nice hotel with amazing paintings! She prepared a really delicious meal for us too, surprised us with decoration for our honeymoon and turned on the whirlpool just for us. Everything was great and it's a good spot to start to the quiltao Lagune and rest when it's raining.
