The room decor was wonderfully eclectic, so if you are looking for beige walls go somewhere else. The rooms are in a 15th century building, very spacious and comfortable. If you are staying on an evening where they are offering a table d'hotes do accept. The hosts fixed a fabulous dinner with good conversation for all. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Located in Confolens, Chez Jack Confolens is a recently renovated accommodation, 32 km from Val de Vienne Circuit and 39 km from The Cormenier. Tastefully decorated and very spacious room which had everything we wanted . . The bed was very large and extremely comfortable . Chez Jack is in an excellent location within Confolens. Breakfasts were excellent , really good choice and everything fresh . The hosts were lovely, couldn’t do enough for us . Would definitely return to Chez Jack .

This was a lovely 1845 house in a quiet neighborhood just a ten-minute Walk from the center of town (cathedral, town hall, shopping, restaurants). Very friendly and helpful proprietors. Delicious breakfast of fruit from her orchard, eggs from her chickens, and just baked clafouti.
