The room decor was wonderfully eclectic, so if you are looking for beige walls go somewhere else. The rooms are in a 15th century building, very spacious and comfortable. If you are staying on an evening where they are offering a table d'hotes do accept. The hosts fixed a fabulous dinner with good conversation for all. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Jack and his wife were absolutely marvelous and the location was perfect (just overlooking the river)! Would definitely recommend to stay at Jack's if you are travelling through Confolens.
