Breakfast was excellent and brought to our room on a tray, table in the room with linen cloth , napkins and silverware was top notch. The view of the pasture with prize horses was also enchanting.

This is a jewel, a beautiful little place tucked away just behind Autun Cathedral (but you can drive to it). It is a B&B, so you get a wonderful breakfast. The host/hostess are extremely courteous and knowledgeable. They sent me on a delightful hike through the town and out into the countryside which was *exactly* what I wanted to do. At the same time, they were perfectly respectful of my desire for privacy. The room was charming and decorated with a bit of "Provencal" colored textiles. If this place is available when you are going to Autun, you should definitely reserve it.

We enjoyed the table d'hote with our two children (especially the wine recommendation), and the breakfast was outstanding. Rooms were comfortable with an excellent shower. Lovely quiet location, we appreciated the garden and the peace.

LE RELAIS VAUBAN ligger i Bazoches, 13 kilometer fra Vézelay-basilikaen og 47 kilometer fra Morvan regionale naturpark, og har gratis WiFi og hage med en terrasse. We had a wonderful stay at Le Relais Vauban at the end of our first day walking on the Voie de Vézelay. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We had an absolutely delicious dinner in the restaurant. Francois is a gracious host and an amazing chef. All of his staff were equally gracious. In the morning, we were served a delicious French breakfast with flakey croissants right out of the oven and they prepared baguette sandwiches for us to take with us on that day’s walk. We highly recommend staying and dining at Le Relais Vauban!

Fantastic location on the edge of Saumur. We were travelling by motorcycle and a big asset was the level car park and locked garage with plenty of space for motorcycles and bicycles . The proprietor was extremely helpful and a good communicator. Lovely continental breakfast .
