La Fortance Paradis Naturel se encuentra en Planfoy, en la región de Ródano-Alpes, a 9 km de Saint-Étienne, y ofrece barbacoa y solárium. El establecimiento alberga un restaurante. It was a stunning location and the host was extremely welcoming (but only speaks French unfortunately for me!). It is definitely a 'get there by car' type of place alternatively you could probably hike there with a bit of planning as it is situated in a beautiful forest around a lake. The room is picturesque and you can see her creative flair which is lovely. Its both cosy and spacious in the room. Our bathroom was upstairs and it was well laid out and had everything you would need. We were also travelling with a medium dog. She welcomed our pet and has two dogs and a cat of her own. We did keep the pets separated but it was all part of the experience of staying in someone else's space. The host ended up making us a surprising and exceptional meal from the veg and herbs in her garden because the only local restaurant was closed (still a drive away). I would also recommend going for her breakfast as she makes all her own jams (also some of her own teas) and the pancakes were very yummy. All in all it's a quirky place with a fantastic home built design. I was absolutely delighted by the whole experience and have already recommended it!

Les rouardes se encuentra en Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez, a 33 km de Estadio Geoffroy-Guichard, a 42 km de Museo de las Confluencias y a 45 km de Estación de tren de Lyon Perrache. The accommodation is new and spotlessly clean. Inside the house, it's comfortable and contains the basics you'd expect from a self-catering holiday place. The owners were kind, helpful and very considerate. The site seems to be a work in progress with lots being done around the house but when we were sitting out or just in the house itself, the work seemed to be suspended to give us peace and quiet. We appreciated that. The village nearby is gorgeous and the views from the house across the valley are stunning.

La Rivoire ofrece alojamiento y desayuno en un lugar de agroturismo de Saint-Julien-Molin-Molette, en el parque natural regional Pilat. Se facilita aparcamiento privado gratuito. Beautiful location. The hostess is very friendly. She offered to cook us a meal after she'd shown us around but that was unnecessary for us. The (Rose) room was big, had a separate toilet and a pleasant bathroom. The shower was cleverly designed. Everything was clean although if you have dust allergies you might want to request that they close the windows before you arrive (it's the country side after all, an oversight on my part)

Le paradis de la Provence se encuentra en Verenay, a 34 km de Museo de las Confluencias y a 37 km de Estación de tren de Lyon Perrache, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, jardín... El paisaje, el sitio y sobre todo el host que es una maravilla de persona. El muy amable, paciente y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Muy recomendable pasar por allí. Intentaré volver un día.

Fantastic shower, large room with sitting room with outstanding view, unusual decor, soft, quality bed linens, ample, safe parking. Friendly staff.

Very nice host, well equipped room, washing facilities and outdoor kitchen. We particularly enjoyed the wonderful garden with great view!
