A wonderful place - Sidney, our smiling host, was incredibly generous and helpful. Over breakfast (which he brought in every morning) he would stay and chat to give us invaluable tips on which beaches to go to, where to eat and drink, and what to see. He organised boat trips and car hire for us at no extra cost, and was always doing more than necessary to make us comfortable. A true gent, and so proud of his country, Sidney is a living advert for Curaçao.

Rooms was very cute and rustic with ensuite bathroom with garden (how beautiful!). You have everything you need. Comfortable bed, mosquito net, fan... There is a pool also, though small, it's new and clean and perfect to cool off or relax with a beer. The owners looked after us and are super friendly. The Breakfast we had was also very tasty with fresh fruit yogurt cereals and nuts, eggs with bacon, fresh juice, and good coffee. WiFi worked fine, location is north of the city therefore well located to explore the beaches of the north, but close enough to go for dinner in the old town in the evening. Overall, incredible value for money, and enjoyed very much our few days there.

Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, yet not far from Fort-de-France, this chambre d'hote was wonderful. The bedroom was quite comfortable, and I appreciated the air-conditioning on hot days. Fabrice is a good cook, so I asked him to cook several dinners for me. It was great to come back to a home-cooked meal after a busy day of exploring. I also appreciated having access to his swimming pool, and a large deck where I could practice yoga in the morning. I also enjoyed conversing with the other guests who shared breakfast and dinner with me. I spent a full week at Havre de paix and felt quite "chez moi" by the end.
