Close to the harbour, but needed google maps to find it. They did provide me location map via whats app. very clean room, coffee maker, kettle, water and some crackers, jam and honey provided. room had small fridge. Unfortunately it had rainy periods while i stayed overnight the stones the tiny streets are made from can get very slippy, so be careful. lovely walks from the harbour both ways and flat, which was great even in the rain. wanted to walk higher but advised not to due to slippy conditions. would definitely go back to this island, loved it!

Only 120 metres from Hydra Port, Alkionides Hydra is situated in a stone-paved courtyard with flowers. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Some units come with a kitchenette. Located just a few steps away from the port so it's in a quieter location with wonderful little restaurants tucked around the corners. The owners are very kind and patient and helpful with any questions or needs that you may have. Hydra is such a truly enchanting place and this the perfect place to stay, especially in the spacious room with the terrace... enjoy your coffee and breakfast in the morning, read a book in the afternoon sun in the afternoon and then, wine and snacks in the evening! Definitely worth spending a little more if you are able.

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. A beautiful hotel, in a quiet location just a minutes walk from the Port. Big rooms with high ceilings. The staff were wonderful.

The hotel is in the traditional style, and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The exceptional breakfast is served on the terrace. Hilda & Lena are very kind and attentive. The hotel is close to the port, but in a very quiet location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
