Safe area, not too busy but walking distance to Old Town.. 10 min walking distance to a Trstenik Beach, which expands onto the newly made super fancy and fun Split boardwalk. Adjacent coffee shop w complimentary welcome drink Hvala 🤗 Welcoming entrance, awesome private sundeck and pool, cool rooftop deck and Jacuzzi with plenty space to lounge w ocean view. Rooms were nice, AC was already on and it was much appreciated since it was close to 40°C that day. Very modern with everything that we needed, super comfy soft bed. And most importantly super welcoming and accommodating.owner and staff. We got locked out and he was there in a minute, I had a question about the ferry and the front desk staff was super helpful and placed a call on my behalf. We already checked out but my boys wanted to watch a soccer game so the owner asked the coffee staff to set it up for us to watch. As a rental owner myself, I really do appreciate the attentiveness. In a prime location in Makarska, Casa Columba - 4 Star Design Boutique Hotel with Outdoor Pool & Private Garden offers a buffet breakfast and free WiFi. Casa Columba is a beautiful boutique hotel located right off of one of the most charming streets in Makarska. It’s an easy 5 minute walk from the main bus station, making it an easy spot to travel in and out of Makarska. While it’s tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s only a short walk to great restaurants, stores and beaches. The adults-only hotel is beautifully renovated, and very charming. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, masterfully decorated, exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable. The host, Dino, clearly took a lot of pride in crafting an oasis with this entire space. He, Yan Yan, and Eddie were welcoming and kind, and as a solo traveler I felt both safe and incredibly comfortable. I have to call out Yan Yan in particular for being especially thoughtful, professional and warm. He really helped set a positive tone at the start of every day with exceptional service at breakfast and throughly the day with thoughtful suggestions and recommendations. I can’t say enough about how wonderful he was - his energy was a cherry on top of an already lovely stay. I look forward to recommending Casa Columba to friends and family, and returning again one day!

Met us and helped us to the room. Had parking spot for us. Very good communication. Location between beach and old town. Comfortable room. Highly recommend.
