Thanks to Ivana I was able to check in early, due to an early checkout in another hotel, that way I didn't have to carry my heavy backpacks around , so that was great, as well as being allowed to check out late! The service was top of the line, Ivana is so friendly and gives lots of information if needed.the room was really nice, lots of space in the bathroom and very clean.

Obiekt Casa Columba - 4 Star Design Boutique Hotel with Outdoor Pool & Private Garden, usytuowany w miejscowości Makarska, oferuje odkryty basen, prywatny parking, ogród oraz wspólny salon. Casa Columba is a beautiful boutique hotel located right off of one of the most charming streets in Makarska. It’s an easy 5 minute walk from the main bus station, making it an easy spot to travel in and out of Makarska. While it’s tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s only a short walk to great restaurants, stores and beaches. The adults-only hotel is beautifully renovated, and very charming. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, masterfully decorated, exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable. The host, Dino, clearly took a lot of pride in crafting an oasis with this entire space. He, Yan Yan, and Eddie were welcoming and kind, and as a solo traveler I felt both safe and incredibly comfortable. I have to call out Yan Yan in particular for being especially thoughtful, professional and warm. He really helped set a positive tone at the start of every day with exceptional service at breakfast and throughly the day with thoughtful suggestions and recommendations. I can’t say enough about how wonderful he was - his energy was a cherry on top of an already lovely stay. I look forward to recommending Casa Columba to friends and family, and returning again one day!

It's a lovely place, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, and the nice AirCo is a plus. Unfortunately we stayed only one night, I would definitely stay longer. About parking, we went straight to the parking lot next to the train station. We've been in Split other times and already new the place, and we need to catch the ferry next morning,so that was the best option. It cost 35 euros per day (quite expensive, but it is what it's) and it's about 10 minutes walking from the apartment. Around the apartment was super full when we arrived, but in the morning when we we were leaving we've see a lot of cars leaving as well, so maybe if you arrive at the right time, you will manage to park there.
