He picks us up his guests at the piers and answers every question you may have. - The place is well situated, just outside Tuktuk main area. - We had a room in the garden, the bed is comfortable and it is quiet at night. - Kettle and fridge in the room. - Good wifi. - Possibility to rent a scooter. There are in good conditions and with a full tank. - Good restaurant next door, for your breakfast. We'll book here again if we visit again Samosir island.

We spent Christmas here and we couldn't have picked a better place. Even before we arrived Lily and the gang made it easy by picking us up in Parapet. The lodge is new and comfortable with big rooms, fan and a wunderful view over the rice fields. All food was very good. Lily and Ishako arranged all our hikings as to our request and we loved it. And they were all so very welcoming and invited us to join with their friends Christmas party. This was one of our best stays in Indonesia. We can highly recommend everybody to stay here. We loved it, thank you, Lily & Ishako & Osaka!

Objekt Hub Tata Guesthouse nalazi se u gradu 'Tuk Tuk' te nudi besplatan WiFi u cijelom objektu. U ponudi su razni sadržaji kao što su vrt, terasa i restoran. This is one of the nicest places (guesthouses) I have ever stayed on my travels. I had 1 of the 2 rooms downstairs right by the water, get up and from your bed you have a view of the lake and the mountains.  Fantastic owner Nia but also a very good and friendly team behind her give you a very welcome feeling right away. I really can't say anything negative about this accommodation. Please note that this is a guesthouse, not a 5* luxury hotel.  The small beautifully maintained garden and all the plants everywhere contribute to a very nice atmosphere.  Please note that the rooms downstairs are more difficult to reach for people who are not very mobile due to the steep stairs (15 steps). There are rooms higher up but of course they lack the charm of staying close to the water.  The restaurant of this guesthouse (with a very nice view) is also worth it. A few special things on the menu but super tasty; definitely try the immune booster. The best restaurants for dinner for me (Hub Tata restaurant closes at 7PM) are on the other side of Tuktuk (15-20 minutes walk) but you can also rent a scooter at Nia.  I would have liked to stay longer but the room was fully booked so book in advance and keep in mind that the Samosir peninsula is so nice that you will probably want to stay longer than planned.

Objekt Mila Homestay smješten je u gradu 'Padang', u krugu od 10 km od znamenitosti Siti Nurbaya Bridge i 47 km od znamenitosti Mount Talang, te nudi terasu. The best place I've ever stayed full stop. Phenomenal hosts who went over and above to make sure everyone was looked after and had the best time ever in padang. It may seem like it's a bit out of the way but it's a 2 dollar grab to town and it's a lovely quiet place out in the village. Don't hesitate to book here

For our family, Bukit Lawang was absolutely one of the best places best have ever been. The stay at Jungle Life Guesthouse was superb. We ended up staying 2 weeks, so we got a much fuller cultural experience getting to know the owners. Alek is very friendly and enthusiastic, and Nabil was very attentive and helpful. They were great organizers of our 2-day jungle trek. (Which can be physically challenging, but if our nearly 60 year old mom can do it, so can you!) They were hosts who went out of their way for us on multiple occasions. We loved our experience at jungle life guest house and hope to be back.

Objekt Toba Boi nudi smještaj u gradu 'Tuk Tuk'. Privatni smještaj nudi pogled na planinu i terasu. U objektu Toba Boi sve sobe nude balkon s pogledom na jezero. The hosts Dong and Seska were so friendly and helpful which made it my stay a memorable one. There is a bar / restaurant across the road which does great food and the bar has live music on a Saturday night which is also very good. I rented a motorbike which was very handy from the accommodation which was convenient and a good price too and they also provide a good laundry service. The upstairs area at the front was good for chilling out with a nice view of the lake. I would definitely recommend and would stay again. Try the Tuak when you're there - it's the local palm wine.

Best homestay in medan We really loved the owners they were so kind location is a bit out of medan but we didn't want to be near city center so was fine. Very nice house with beautiful garden, breakfast and coffee was great. Got to try lots of fruit from the garden and really enjoyed spending time with the hosts. They picked us up from airport and organized a shuttle bus to bukit lawang. Stay here if you are spending a night or two in medan on your way to other destinations.

The staff were incredibly kind, and it was wonderful to hang out with them in the common area. They were also very helpful with everything we needed. Our jungle trekking experience with them was absolutely awesome! Huge thanks to all the guides at Cheeky Monkeys. We highly recommend staying here; the rooms are comfortable, the common areas are inviting, and the garden is simply astonishing.
