And rest assured that Dimmer (the host) will take care of you and make arrangements for you - Truly the best homestay I have ever stayed at in a very beautiful place.

We had the best time at Sumatra expedition lodge. The room was spacious, clean and had air con and a fan. The family were lovely and the workers were so friendly and helpful. We had amazing meals at the lodge (our favourite the tempeh rengdeng). We also did a jungle trek organised by the lodge. We had the most incredible day with our tour guide Oman and his helper Onkey (sorry if wrong spelling). Oman was so great with 20 plus years of experience in the jungle he was so knowledgeable and we saw so much beautiful jungle and wildlife. He also deeply cared about the environment and was a great advocate for animal wellbeing and safety. We were fortunate enough to see lots of monkeys and observe the orangutan’s up close. Definitely recommend 10/10

Absolutely perfect stay at Mila Homestay! Everything was spotless — super clean room, a big comfortable bed, hot shower, and great AC. The breakfast (made by Michaël) was delicious — and even served with a smile if you oversleep by more than an hour 😄 But the real highlight was the hosts, Dila and Michaël. They are truly the best hosts you could wish for — incredibly kind, helpful, and genuine. They helped us with everything: transportation, tickets, and local tips. Dila took us to the city and market several times and always managed to get us amazing deals. We feel so lucky to have met them — not just as hosts, but now as friends. ❤️ We can’t recommend Mila Homestay enough!✨️🔝

I Padang, 13 minutters gange fra Air Manis-stranden, ligger The view padang, Amazing view, 8 mins Mentawai fast ferry, cold beer, close to restaurants, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en... Amazing host, comfortable beds and the hospitality they provided just simply amazing. We will come back for sure!

Nær stranden i Bukit Lawang ligger JUNGLE LIFE GUEST HOUSE - Trekking & Transport Only Book With Us, som har en bar. Amazing place! Nabil and Alek are super helpful to organize everything, and the jungle trek was exceptional! Mershy is such a great guide (ask for him!), we spotted a lot of animals... special mention for the food during the trek (thanks Manto!)

This is an amazing place to stay. The room was super clean and very comfortable. Dong who runs the place will make sure you have a very memorable stay. The service and hospitality of everyone connected to Toba Boi is exceptional. I had such a fantastic stay here.

Borja and Yuyun are excellent hosts that offers you the warmest welcome that you can imagine. They are very kind and help you with any and every question you might have about the place and the island. Every single item in the rooms were well thought. Room was very clean. Having a mini fridge, boiler in the room was great to have. Location is fantastic as it's a bit remote in the island which offers you a calm place to relax. Having the ocean right beneath you is remarkable. Food in the restaurant which is running as a side business, "La Boca Chica", was a great surprise for us as it really exceeded our expectations for taste and variety. We were not comfortable to ride scooter and Borja was kind enough to give us a practice session which shows how far they are willing to go for helping their guests!

From the first contact on everything was organized perfectly (transport from and to the airport, the trek, finding a group to treck with etc.). The staff is really nice, you feel like family there. They also invited me for dinner and we talked about many different things, like culture differences. I did a 2 day 1 night treck with Rian (Guide), Sarol (Assistant Guide) and Mawan (Chef). A very good experience with a lot of explanations and fun. The food was also delicious. You can see, that they have a lot of experience.
