A beautiful traditional house, surrounded by a japanese garden in a quiet area, conveniently close to the railway station and bus stop. The landlady is charming and welcoming. It is well equipped witha complete kitchen. And private onsen ! Thank you !

I Echizen-shi, bare 18 kilometer fra Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall og 24 kilometer fra Fukui International Activities Plaza ligger 京町レジダンス. By far my favourite place to stay in Japan so far. The ladies who welcomed us was so incredibly sweet; they showed us around and one of them even took us to the local shrine so my kids could enjoy the ice cream I had purchased from their sister store.

I Ōno, bare 26 kilometer fra Eiheiji-tempelet og 29 kilometer fra Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall ligger 貸切宿 だんねだんね Private guest house Danne-Danne. What is see is what you get (and with Japan standard of cleaniness!) If you are looking to stay in a traditional japanese home, Danne-Danne is an excellent choice - with modern facilities but with the old style. The host was also super helpful and responsive!

I Sakai, 20 kilometer fra Phoenix Plaza, ligger Tsumesyo Mikuni, som har gratis sykler, gratis privat parkering og en hage. The house is beautifully designed and has plenty of space to hang out and eat. The location is good for walking around the cute town of Mikuni.

I Fukui, bare 20 kilometer fra Phoenix Plaza og 21 kilometer fra Fukui International Activities Plaza ligger Echizen Guesthouse TAMADA. It's an old traditional building and the renovated warehouse is fantastic.

I Tsuruga, 14 minutters gange fra Kehi Jingu-helligdommen, ligger ほぼ家, som har en hage, privat parkering, en fellesstue og en restaurant. First of all the location of Hoboie is really practical for visiting around in Tsuruga. The house is traditional and really beautiful, well equipped and super clean. Plus the owners Yoshi and Kyoko are super kind, friendly and helpful. Also they have a restaurant aside where you can enjoy delicious food. I will never forget this trip thanks to them and their lovely friends. Thank you so much, hope to come back!
