I Katsuyama, 26 kilometer fra Eiheiji-tempelet, ligger 11月フルリフォーム 12月オープン恐竜一色ゲストハウスDinosaur Guesthouse, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. The staff was absolutely lovely. They keep the shared kitchen stocked with eggs and they gift you bread and drinks in the room refrigerator. They were so nice and my family had a lot of fun with the numerous dinosaur toys, puzzles, and decorations.

I Sakai, bare 20 kilometer fra Phoenix Plaza og 21 kilometer fra Fukui International Activities Plaza ligger 温泉民宿三国縁. A beautiful traditional house, surrounded by a japanese garden in a quiet area, conveniently close to the railway station and bus stop. The landlady is charming and welcoming. It is well equipped witha complete kitchen. And private onsen ! Thank you !

Bare 26 kilometer fra Fukui International Activities Plaza og 26 kilometer fra Phoenix Plaza ligger 越前海岸 ゲストハウス オーシャンズ Echizen Seaside Guesthouse OCEAN'S, som tilbyr overnatting med klimaanlegg og... Nice atmosphere, great host and accommodation! A pity we only stayed one night.

I Echizen-shi, bare 18 kilometer fra Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall og 24 kilometer fra Fukui International Activities Plaza ligger 京町レジダンス. By far my favourite place to stay in Japan so far. The ladies who welcomed us was so incredibly sweet; they showed us around and one of them even took us to the local shrine so my kids could enjoy the ice cream I had purchased from their sister store.

I Awara, bare 21 kilometer fra Phoenix Plaza og 21 kilometer fra Fukui International Activities Plaza ligger 民宿NaMi. Spacious and clean! Walking distance to onsens.

I Ōno, bare 26 kilometer fra Eiheiji-tempelet og 29 kilometer fra Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall ligger 貸切宿 だんねだんね Private guest house Danne-Danne. What is see is what you get (and with Japan standard of cleaniness!) If you are looking to stay in a traditional japanese home, Danne-Danne is an excellent choice - with modern facilities but with the old style. The host was also super helpful and responsive!

恐竜博物館まで車で5分 自然体験 古来農業体験ができる一棟貸し宿Dinosaur Agri ligger i Katsuyama, 17 minutters gange fra Echizen Daibutsu og 3,6 kilometer fra Fukui-prefekturets dinosaurmuseum. 屋主非常熱情，家裏用品十分齊全，感謝一切的安排，和準備十分細心，推薦家庭一家入住，非常舒適

I Sakai, 20 kilometer fra Phoenix Plaza, ligger Tsumesyo Mikuni, som har gratis sykler, gratis privat parkering og en hage. The house is beautifully designed and has plenty of space to hang out and eat. The location is good for walking around the cute town of Mikuni.

I Fukui, bare 20 kilometer fra Phoenix Plaza og 21 kilometer fra Fukui International Activities Plaza ligger Echizen Guesthouse TAMADA. It's an old traditional building and the renovated warehouse is fantastic.

I Tsuruga, 14 minutters gange fra Kehi Jingu-helligdommen, ligger ほぼ家, som har en hage, privat parkering, en fellesstue og en restaurant. Beautiful old Japanese building in a quite road 20 mins away from the station. The room was much more spacious than I had expected. An old building but very well taken care of - did not feel rundown at all. Basic facilities like microwave, fridge, hot water and an induction hob is provided. Everything was very very clean. I had seen a comment here that the shower room can't be used in the morning but that was not the case when I was there. Note that the shower room is shared among ~4 rooms so might need to take turns during busier times (not the case neither for me as only two rooms were occupied then).
