Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). I thought this would be just a nice sleepover place and nothing more but it is so beautiful and has a very unique traditional feel that it made our stay on the island so much better. You even get free breakfast/dinner if you don't have time to eat outside and depart early in the morning/ don't manage to fetch a table in a reataurant in the evening because there is limited amount of restaurants that are open in late evening or early morning. The whole house is very authentic and the family that runs the place also offers a little souvenir shop with super cheap prices of local souvenirs, some even locally handmade. Thr staff is super nice and the xommom areas welcoming to spend the evenings in game/living room. Also had beautiful garden and amazing views from the rooms right on the sea

Everything about this property was perfect. My family of 4 had a private room with 4 bunks and our own bathroom. The restaurant attached was fantastic and convenient. The train station is a ten minute walk through a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

يقع مكان إقامة "HEM'S HOTEL 1日1組限定 new" في ميياجيما، ضمن 2.4 كم من شاطئ تاتسوميجاورا (Tsutsumigaura Beach) و400 م من الباغودا ذو الطوابق الخمسة، ويوفر غرفاً مع جهاز تكييف وحمام خاص. Firstly the host was really welcoming and nice. It’s quite unique to be able to talk to a local so much :) The room was big with comfortable beds and more than enough space. The breakfast was really good (especially the coffee which we found hard to find any other place) The hotels location was ideal for us as it’s close to the ferry, the Main Street and all of the main attractions. The price is a bit steep, but absolutelly worth it!

Overall this was better than some private accommodations I have stayed in the past. The hostel room only has 6 beds. The bathrooms were clean and specious. Really enjoyed. Bed was nice after sleeping on wood tile for 3 days.

He gave us some fresh fruit from his garden that tasted amazing and offered to drive us to the ferry twice! We can only recommend this guesthouse, everything was great!

The guesthouse was quaint, artistic, and impeccably clean. The owner, Katsumori san, is kind and very detail-oriented, and you can tell that he puts his heart and soul into running this guesthouse. I loved my stay here, it was the highlight of my trip.

She helped us navigate rental of bikes, gave us good tips about our bike ride, and helped explain the local experience. The place was clean, spacious and had great location right on the beach. Waking up to the water view was amazing.

I had a delightful experience staying at this accommodation. The host was exceptionally kind and hospitable, ensuring that my stay was comfortable throughout. The ambiance of the place was remarkable, providing a genuine taste of Japanese house living. It truly made me feel immersed in the local culture. Additionally, the host's proficiency in English made communication effortless and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable and authentic Japanese accommodation experience.
