Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Fantastic location, a very short distance out of the main tourist areas, but close to everything. Beautiful setting both inside and out. The room had fantastic views and was very comfortable and spacious. Lots of amenities available.

4.1 km from Atomic Bomb Dome, Guest house Mitaki is a recently renovated property situated in Hiroshima and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Excellent atmosphere, the hosts were extremely welcoming despite our total lack of Japanese. We also arrived back to our room one particularly cold afternoon to find that the host had switched the heater on for us which was incredibly welcome on our cold bones.

Set in Onomichi, 25 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, BONAPOOL offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Easy to find and good location and safe space to leave your bikes. In a walking distance there are multiple restaurants and cafes.Capsules, shower and other shared spaces were super clean. Free coffee and tea in the kitchen area.

Wonderful guest house hotel. Just us. Very peaceful and authentic. Spacious private clean room. Wonderful kind friendly host. Who made us a lovely breakfast. Was one of the hi lights of our two weeks in Japan.

Kusunoki for women-only guesthouse is set in Fukuyama, 9 km from Miroku no Sato, 9 km from Jodoji Temple, and 10 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine. Kusunoki San is extremely nice and kind! The guest house is clean and beautiful. Highly recommend this place!

Boasting sea views, Guest House Gamigami provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge, around 3.1 km from Saikon-ji Temple. Fantastic property with great views across the bay, outdoor bbq facilities and microwave indoors with lots of crockery,cutlery etc. Traditional style bedrooms and a great host who couldn't do enough to help during my short stay.

Offering sea views, Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-tei is an accommodation set in Onomichi, 70 metres from Senkoji Temple and 700 metres from Onomichi History Museum. The guesthouse was brilliant and exceeded our expectations. The location and view was amazing, and the traditional rooms were great. All the staff were really helpful and lovely to chat to. The bar/café was a welcome hangout and great to sit and enjoy a drink. Although it was at the top of the hill, the walk wasn’t hard and exploring up the hill was a real treat. Will definitely go back, and would highly recommend it to anyone.
