Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Følte oss hjemme samtidig som at alt var nytt.

Guest house Mitaki ligger i Hiroshima, med Atombombekuppelen bare 4,1 kilometer unna. It was so nice to stay in a quiet and nice area but still close to the city and train station. The guest house is beautiful. Our room too. The beds were comfortable and I could get a really good rest. They had great facilities, like the kitchen, instant hot water and coffee/tea/hot chocolat. We could do our laundry. Also they serve really good and affordable food, drinks and desserts at their gorgeous restaurant that was open during the day. They even have a Japanese garden with a Koi fish pond! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved everything about this place.

Our host, Kousuke, is super nice, and made delicious breakfast. The property has a beautiful small garden in the middle. Bed is very comfortable.

ゲストハウス尾道ポポー Guesthouse Onomichi Pawpaw ligger i Onomichi, med Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine bare 12 minutters gange unna. Everything was absolutely amazing, and especially the service. The owner is so kind and helpful. He helped us out so much and even drove us to the ferry. If you are ever in Onomichi don’t hesitate to book this place, the kindness and hospitality of the owner alone is enough to make the stay worthwhile.

I Fukuyama, 8,4 kilometer fra Shinsho-ji Temple, ligger kusunoki for women-only guesthouse, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. Quiet space, clean, tidy. Easy parking.

I Onomichi, 3,1 kilometer fra Saikon-ji Temple, ligger Guest House Gamigami, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She helped us navigate rental of bikes, gave us good tips about our bike ride, and helped explain the local experience. The place was clean, spacious and had great location right on the beach. Waking up to the water view was amazing.

Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-tei ligger i Onomichi, 0 minutters gange fra Senkoji-tempelet, og har en bar. Her bor du med utsikt over byen. We stayed in the large family room upstairs and the view was amazing. This place made us feel like we were really in Japan with tatami floors and shoji screens in a beautifully restored traditional house. The story of the restoration project is interesting too. We walked up to the temple and the observatory at the top of the hill, and explored the surrounding streets before going biking on the islands the next day. Wished we had stayed two nights instead of only one. The futons were comfortable and warm. Other guests were considerate and quiet. Facilities were clean.
