Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Følte oss hjemme samtidig som at alt var nytt.

The restaurant attached was fantastic and convenient. The train station is a ten minute walk through a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

Unique hotel in a renovated Japanese home. Great location, quiet. It was very hot so a/c had difficulty keeping up but small issue for us. Great staff who served us a delicious breakfast which was included.

西条ゲストハウス八反 ligger i Higashihiroshima, med Remains of Ochaya - Honzin bare 14 minutters gange unna. The room was clean and the owner was very kind and nice person.

ゲストハウス尾道ポポー Guesthouse Onomichi Pawpaw ligger i Onomichi, med Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine bare 12 minutters gange unna. Nice guesthouse with friendly owners.

I Fukuyama, 8,4 kilometer fra Shinsho-ji Temple, ligger kusunoki for women-only guesthouse, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. The building has been beautifully renovated, everything is new and plush. I’ve never stayed in such a first class hostel. The sliding doors for privacy by each bed are just great! The owner is lovely and strives to give an excellent service. He let me check in early because I arrived by bicycle (twice in fact). I returned because I liked it so much and felt at home. The place is probably the cleanest hotel in Japan, and that’s saying something. Also, the dining room chairs are so comfortable. Highly recommend.

I Onomichi, 3,1 kilometer fra Saikon-ji Temple, ligger Guest House Gamigami, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. The location is simply stunning, the guesthouse sits peacefully on the seafront of tranquil Mukaishima Island, surrounded by lush vegetation and easily accessible by car. It's the perfect destination if you're cycling along the Shimanami Kaido. Youko is an incredible host, warm, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful. She provided excellent recommendations for bike rentals, local restaurants, and activities, and every day left thoughtful notes at reception highlighting events happening in the area. When we accidentally left our backpack (with passports inside!) at the guesthouse, she promptly mailed it to our next destination without hesitation. Our 8-year-old daughter, Alice, loved the play area in the communal dining space, bouncing on the trampoline in the garden, and meeting the resident animals: friendly sheep, two charming cats, and Maroon, the adorable dog. The property itself is spotless. We stayed in one of the Japanese-style rooms, which felt spacious by Japanese standards, and offered spectacular views over the bay. The rooftop terrace was another highlight for us. We'd wholeheartedly recommend staying here, it’s truly a special place.

Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-tei ligger i Onomichi, 0 minutters gange fra Senkoji-tempelet, og har en bar. Her bor du med utsikt over byen. The guestroom and the view is absolutely spectacular. As a guest, you are also allowed to stay and relay in the coffee/teahouse - which is also lovely. The location on the hill was for me a perfect break from all the city hustle and bustle. I would stay again anytime!

I Hiroshima, 5 kilometer fra Aeon Mall Hiroshima-Fuchu, ligger 88 House Hiroshima, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. Our host was amazing and wonderful! The location was close enough to town but far enough away to feel quiet!
