Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). I liked the atmosphere, the fact that you can meet others and exchange opinions on your journey and the traditional bath was really good.

It was so nice to stay in a quiet and nice area but still close to the city and train station. The guest house is beautiful. Our room too. The beds were comfortable and I could get a really good rest. They had great facilities, like the kitchen, instant hot water and coffee/tea/hot chocolat. We could do our laundry. Also they serve really good and affordable food, drinks and desserts at their gorgeous restaurant that was open during the day. They even have a Japanese garden with a Koi fish pond! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved everything about this place.

Firstly the host was really welcoming and nice. It’s quite unique to be able to talk to a local so much :) The room was big with comfortable beds and more than enough space. The breakfast was really good (especially the coffee which we found hard to find any other place) The hotels location was ideal for us as it’s close to the ferry, the Main Street and all of the main attractions. The price is a bit steep, but absolutelly worth it!

Overall this was better than some private accommodations I have stayed in the past. The hostel room only has 6 beds. The bathrooms were clean and specious. Really enjoyed. Bed was nice after sleeping on wood tile for 3 days.

Nastanitev Guest House Gamigami je v mestu Onomichi, 3,1 km od znamenitosti Saikon-ji Temple, in nudi vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso. Gamigami is located with a fantastic view across the inland sea with islands near and in the distance. It is a pity that cables are in this view as seen from the rooms but you can go up on the flat roof for an unobstructed view. It is not very far on a nearly flat road to the ferry to Onomichi so it makes a good last night if you are cycling from Imabari taking several days as we did. We had a comfort Japanese style room.

Nastanitev Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-tei je v mestu Onomichi, le nekaj korakov od znamenitosti Tempelj Senkoji, in nudi bar ter pogled na mesto. The property is located in a very cute and historic part of the town, it has a very authentic feel. The staff is very very friendly, there is also a bar, a kitchen, showers and a terrace. We were quite sad we only got to spend one night there, wish we could enjoy Onomichi and the Guest house a few days more!

The house was very beautiful, we had a super warm welcome, the manager was kind and took time to guide us. 100% recommend, we wish we had stayed more time
