Featuring 2-star accommodation, Guest House Suzumeno Kakurembo is set in Koyasan, 37 km from Kishi Station and 44 km from Matsushita Park. Very genuinely kind staff. The room is very comfortable with complete amenities. The adjoining restaurant/cafe also provided delicious food for dinner and breakfast. Totally recommended for people who want to enjoy Koyasan but wanting to save on accommodation by not staying in the temples.

Located in Koyasan, Koyasan Guest House Tommy is a recently renovated accommodation, 38 km from Kishi Station and 45 km from Matsushita Park. We booked 2 rooms for our group of 5 and it was fantastic. Tommy is super nice with good English and took time to recommend things to do around Koyasan. The rooms were very clean, warm and comfortable

J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse is situated in Hongu, a 10-minute drive away or a 70-minute walk on the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route from Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine. Includes free access to onsen of high quality. Staff very friendly and supportive. Would love to stay there again.

Located just 1.3 km from Oka Park, Guesthouse RICO offers accommodation in Wakayama with access to a bar, a shared lounge, as well as a housekeeping service. The environment is cozy, clean and has everything you need. The common area is very warm and cozy. The room where I was was also quite spacious and had a shower and toilet. The staff is friendly and welcoming, as a solo traveller I enjoyed spending some time chatting with them and other people around. I had dinner there, and food and beer were really good! They also had great recommendations for food and places to visit. There is also a public bath nearby for which they provide towels and soap and entrance at discounted fee.

My family had an exceptional time at Guesthouse Soi. They went far and beyond to help us with everything. My kids can't wait to go back there!

Situated in Kyoto, 1 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, シーザー祇園CaesarGion features rooms with city views and free WiFi. Location is great. Parking is nearby, not the cheapest but very secure and easy access. Staff are nice and helpful.

Boasting garden views, ゲストハウス柚 features accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a terrace, around 200 metres from Kumano Hayatama Taisha. The building and the rooms are super traditional and charming and spacious and comfortable. There was a shaved ice machine and prepared ice and sirup, very tasty! Fantastic location, there is a great temple right next to it. The host was super friendly and helpful, he made the stay great!

NONAGASE GUEST HOUSE, a property with a garden, is situated in Chikatsuyu, 300 metres from Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art, 29 km from Kamitonda Concert Hall, as well as 31 km from Hosshinmon Oji... Our stay at Nonagase Guesthouse was an absolute treasure. The moment we arrived, we felt the calm and charm of this beautiful place. Dinner and breakfast were both incredible — thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and truly some of the best meals we had on our trip. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the futons were perfect after long days of hiking. Everything about the guesthouse felt cozy, welcoming, and full of heart. We left feeling restored and grateful, and we would love to return one day. Highly recommend!

Located within 7.2 km of Iwafune Shrine and 10 km of Nozaki Kannon Shrine, Shionome house provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Ikoma. This place is just amazing. Most friendly and helpful host. The house is traditional Japanese style and gives a very homely feeling. It’s walking distance from the station and very calm place. Definitely recommend.

The location is very near JR Shingu station with restaurants, konbini and a supermarket nearby. Host is very accommodating and very helpful with all my needs.
