He was invaluable in offering tips and suggestions for my 2 night stay on Yakushima island. The location was quite centrally as well in the Miyanoura town area. This guesthouse is a renovated standard Japanese home but it had all the amenities that one could hope for. My shoes were completely soaked from hiking Yakushima but staff there helped me dry out overnight.

Although the air-conditioner is out of order, she tried her very best to solve the problem. She also recommended a very good restaurant for our dinner. Many thanks for her hospitality indeed.
