Host is amazing, Yossy is a very friendly and caring person, he will do his best to make your experience in Kumano-shi unforgettable, take you on tour or share a meal in a local restaurant. This was by far the best place I stayed, I would highly recommand you to stay at Guesthouse Usagi if you plan to visit Kumano-shi ! Thank you Yossy, you've been amazing 🙏🏻

ぽつぽつあん fica em Ise. Oharai-machi está a 5 minutos a pé de distância, Santuário de Sarutahiko fica a 400 metros e Parque Nacional Ise-Shima fica a 18 minutos a pé. This stay was absolutely fabulous! My husband and I stayed here as our home base for a nearby event and it exceeded our expectations. The host was amazing and even gave us a small gift since he knew we were in Japan for our honeymoon. The home is a perfect blend of modern and traditional - the tatami mats were pristine, the design was thoughtful, and we loved the kotatsu. The location was wonderful - on a quiet street, steps away from a convenient Family Mart, and just a short walk from Oharaimachi St and the inner Shrine (the highlights of our whole trip!). We love this spot and hope to stay here again in the future :)

What a wonderful place with a lovely family. Thank you so much for this experience. It’s a very old and traditional Japanese wood house. We enjoyed our stay. It gave us "Ghibli vibes". Unfortunately we had to leave one day earlier than planned because of some health issues. Luckily the host called for us a local doctor and made an appointment for me. And we got our missed night refunded without us even asking! I can’t thank you enough. Such good people. We will definitely come again one day!

Wow what a lovely property. The owners are very friendly and even gave us a lift to the train station the next morning. A lovely traditional building, very clean and everything you need. As an added bonus they have rare cars in their garage that my husband enjoyed looking at. Will definitely stay again next time we visit Japan

This was a truly memorable and awesome stay for us in Kumano. We were kindly welcomed in a house filled with figurines, games and toys from the early 2000s. The host was extremely kind and even helped us set up a projector to watch a movie! One of the most unique stays we’ve experienced in Japan so far! There’s also an incredible restaurant nearby called 食堂 あお where the owner speak English and we got to taste the best fish we’ve ever had! Overall highly recommend!!

It's 10 minutes walk to Iseshi station in a quiet neighborhood, making it a convenient base for exploring Ise. The guesthouse is a renovated old house which was quite nice with a comfortable living room for relaxing. I was glad to see that the bunk beds were solidly constructed (no creaking or shaking when occupying the upper bunk). The staff were very friendly too.
