1.5 km from Ubuta Shrine, Guesthouse Usagi is a recently renovated property set in Kumano and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. It’s a 100-year-old traditional Japanese house so the atmosphere was calm and nostalgic. The location was perfect, it’s near one of the oldest shrines in Japan and just a short walk from the bus station. And last but not least, the owner was super friendly and helpful!!

My husband and I stayed here as our home base for a nearby event and it exceeded our expectations. The host was amazing and even gave us a small gift since he knew we were in Japan for our honeymoon. The home is a perfect blend of modern and traditional - the tatami mats were pristine, the design was thoughtful, and we loved the kotatsu. The location was wonderful - on a quiet street, steps away from a convenient Family Mart, and just a short walk from Oharaimachi St and the inner Shrine (the highlights of our whole trip!). We love this spot and hope to stay here again in the future :)

Featuring quiet street views, ATASHIKADAYS Kumano-Kodo Beachfront B&B Hostel offers accommodation with a balcony, around 60 metres from Atashika Beach. Everything. But to the point. This is a great spot if you want to do kumano kodo iseshi route. The scene is to die for. But weirdly during my time zero people come here. Lol. So picture say the best. And enjoy the picture. The owner give us access whole house and he is owner for orange farm which have one of the best oranges as well.

Thank you for welcoming us in such a beautiful place, that was amazing, we would have stayed a few days more if we have known. I hope we go back one day !

Located in Kumano and only 1.6 km from Odomari Beach, Guest House Wagaranchi Kai provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. You stay/rent a Japanese house all for your self. Perfect for traveling with family, and/or a group of friends that needs a washing machine, and peace and quiet. Its next to the main road, but traffic is not a lot on weekdays and as the house has its own fence, it blocks direct sound from the road. For night time, you would not hear a thing.

THY GUEST HOUSE, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Ise, 5.7 km from Ise Grand Shrine, 3.4 km from Oharai-machi, as well as less than 1 km from Ise Shrine Geku. It's quite close to Iseshi station and Ujiyamada station. I like that each cubicle is really spacious with enough space for all my personal belongings. The locker space was also actually deep and wide enough to put a small backpack in. The bed was also really comfy since it was a proper thick futon. The place was really clean and spotless with enough facilities for a night or 2 stay. I also like that it's not too crowded since there are only 2 floors of beds and each floor has only i beds.
