Breakfast was so awesome. The owner lady got up early in the morning and she prepared a Japanese-style breakfast with warm care. I was able to use the sauna even after the breakfast, so I had a pleasant meal and enjoyed the sauna. I left after enjoying a very good rest in hospitality that I can't feel anywhere else in Japan. The bedding in the room was comparable to a 5-star hotel. All the usable spaces were really clean and organized, so just looking at them made me feel good. The usable space is very large compared to typical accommodations in Japan.

The owners were extremely hospitable, from helping make reservations for restaurants and activities on the island to greeting us when we come back from a day of exploring the island. The owners prepared meals as well, which was exceptional. We loved the architecture and atmosphere of the accommodation itself, as it was a newly renovated traditional home. Thank you Masumi San and Oo San, we loved our stay here so much I could not speak highly enough! :) <3

Ubytovanie Guest House「さごんヴィレッジ」 sa nachádza v destinácii Tsushima v regióne Nagasaki 36 km od miesta Watatsumi Shrine. One day, soon I hope, I'll be able to be fluent enough with my Japanese to review places like this one. Nevertheless, still not the case. :'( This place could be described with one world: fabulous. Really, totally, incredibly fabulous. When the bus left me in the middle of nowhere, when I crossed a town slowly, without population to carry out its history, when I found out that the school before the guesthouse was in fact the guesthouse (yeah, should have checked /o), I was as excited as afraid. That was for naught though. Understanding the village his population and history, helps a lot understanding the place. Without children to study in it, the school was closed around 10 years ago, and then repaired, treated with a lot of love and respect until the result you will find there: a cosy, comfortable, clean and warm place run by a bunch of adorable people, always there for advices, recommendations and useful tips. Sleeping alone (not many visitors there !) in this huge empty school may seem a little gloomy and scary (some horror movie vibes ?), you will soon forget about it while enjoying the beautiful scenery surrounding the school, while meeting the villagers and the workers at the tea farm nearby (which were the reason why I went there the first place) and while enjoying the delicious food provided by the hosts (on certain days). These few days were the last of a fantastic month of holidays I spent in Kyushu. Staying there was one of the best ideas I had for sure! お世話になりました!

Kota and Sachi (the hosts) were incredibly kind, accommodating and helpful. Had great conversations with them. Room was warm and tidy. Excellent local restaurant and bar recommendations. E-bike rental service was provided with recommendations on where to visit, how long you'd need etc. Would definitely recommend! 👌

Very good stay, the people (and place) were so nice. We had an amazing night with a music show and had the chance to exchange with local people, they even took pictures and print them for us, what great memories! Thanks again for the precious time together

Ubytovanie TSUDOI guest house sa nachádza v destinácii Unzen 47 km od miesta Múzeum histórie a kultúry Nagasaki a ponúka izby s klimatizáciou a hostia tu majú k dispozícii vybavenie na grilovanie. The host is a wonderfull amazing guy and very helpfull!! Everything was perfect for us. we got tickets to the public onsen wich was a plus.

Amazing people, amazing place. Everything clean, a place that respect the traditional culture. I couldn't image something better! The people who work there are incredibly helpful and kind!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at GardenRoom BNB Yumyum. Previously in Japan we had only stayed in generic hotels so it was nice to stay somewhere with more character. The owners are very friendly and kind. They speak a little English so with the help of Google translate you can get by. We were happy with the location, it was walkable to most places, there was a 7-11 a few minutes away and it was close to a tram stop. We liked the room, the bed was comfortable, there was aircon, a fridge and kettle etc (we stayed in one of the western style rooms). We usually avoid shared bathrooms but they were clean and we had no issues even on a night where the BNB was busy. The breakfast was a real highlight. It is Japanese style and was completely different every day, so it allowed us to try a lot of different things as there would always be 3 or 4 ramekins of small items, a soup, a salad, and a main dish. It was also very substantial as there was always bread and rice freely available to go with it, You could help yourself to coffee and water, and tea is available if you prefer. We would be very happy if everywhere we stayed in Japan was like this.
