Staying at Baia Sonambula was outstanding. The room (#1) I stayed in was magnificant. The staff was lovely and overdelivered. They went above and beyond during my stay. I highly recommend staying here. It is close to the beach - roughly a 10 second walk. The views from breakfast were breathtaking. I can't wait to come back and bring my friends and family

Oliver and his family do as much as they can to make me feel at home! Always available to take me around Barra arranging for me excursions and everything's to make for me an amazing holiday.

I can’t say enough fantastic things about this place. The sea view rooms not only offer beautiful vistas but with the sliders open you can hear the waves. The staff that greet you each day are top notch treating you like family and offering assistance with whatever you need. There is an on sight restaurant and bar for times you don’t want to venture out but plenty of other delicious options within a short walk. Market and beach less than a 5 minute walk. This place has thought of everything, even providing chairs and canopy free for guests. Just ask during your included (yummy) breakfast and they will set everything up while you are brushing your teeth. If you catch fresh fish (we didn’t) the kitchen staff with prepare it for your evening dinner. Casa do Mar is a bit more expensive but totally worth every penny.

Boasting pool views, Mozambeat Motel provides accommodation with a tennis court, a bar and barbecue facilities, around less than 1 km from Tofinho Beach. All the folks who work at Mozambeat are so kind, helpful and fun. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The cabin was comfortable, the hammock a bonus and the outdoor shower under the stars made me smile big. I love how you can refill your drinking water at the bar so that you are not wasting numerous single use plastic bottles. Music selection is awesome and all the little thoughtful details such as mosquito repellent lotion, shampoo, spare bamboo toothbrush etc make this place stand out. What a gem!
