Situated in Folgosa, 14 km from Douro Museum, Quinta Vale de Lobos has an infinity pool, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access. Spectacular views. Remote, but only 15 minutes from basic stores & a few restaurants. Staff was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was nice with classic European meats and eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit, etc. also had access to charcuterie, wine, sodas as needed. Nice to have access to this as the staff is gone after 5ish. Obrigado Elvira for all of your advice on the area!

Offering garden views, Quinta da Costinha is an accommodation situated in Alijó, 45 km from Douro Museum and 30 km from Mateus Palace. What a fabulous house. Very comfortable, peace and quiet in a lovely small town. The hostess Katiana was exceptionally helpful. Off street parking, pool area. All good.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He was always available to answer any questions we had. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Everything was fine for us, we will definitely come back for a longer stay!
